JointEffort.io has a fair usage policy in relation to accessing and using the JointEffort.io Services. For the purpose of this fair usage policy, the Subscriber may not vary from the average in a disproportionate manner, having regard to the amount of compute time, data storage and network traffic used by Subscriber.

In such event, JointEffort.io is entitled to temporarily limit or restrict access to the Services and/or require that Subscriber pays a supplemental charge to cover the additional costs that are incurred.

If the Subscriber exceeds Fair Usage entitlements, JointEffort.io will inform the Subscriber in a timely fashion and allow time to remedy the issue.

If JointEffort.io detects something out of the ordinary in Subscriber usage patterns, JointEffort.io will contact the Subscriber to discuss the situation and ensure reasonable time is given to either address the situation or to discuss potential remedies and alternatives.

Urgent and Extreme Cases

In an urgent or extreme case, for example where services are likely to be significantly impacted, or where we believe either the Subscribers systems or JointEffort.io’s systems are under attack (a DDOS - denial of service attack for instance) or where we believe the Subscribers system or JointEffort.io’s systems has been compromised (for example a hacker or potential a security breach) we may block the Subscriber’s access to JointEffort.io services.

Before we do this, or in urgent situations immediately after doing so, we will contact the Subscriber to discuss possible solutions.
